Questions about skills

Does Shroud of the Avatar have classes?

No. Any character can learn any skill. You build a role by choosing which of the 21 schools to train and which two to specialize in.

How many skill schools are there?

21: seven Combat schools, nine Magic schools and five Strategy schools. Each school has its own Specialization skill.

How many schools can I specialize in?

Two at a time. You can change them at any skill trainer or Oracle at no experience cost, and only the two slotted schools pay out specialization bonuses.

Are the numbers on these pages exact?

Not yet. The formulas come from the community wiki and predate the game's overhaul. Each school is marked Estimate until we check it against the live game, and a balance pass is still changing numbers.
