August 7 2026 – Quality‑of‑Life Fixes, Visual Polish, and Dungeon Builder Updates

By admin · 8/8/2026

Tradeable trophies back – The 39 event award trophies that were temporarily set to “No Trade” are now freely tradable again. Both existing trophies in player inventories and any new ones can be exchanged without restriction.

Map and character copy improvements – The in‑game map, which appeared blank for many players after a recent update, now loads on demand and displays correctly. Character copies from live now include the entire character sheet (not just skills), fixing the issue where a tester’s bulk‑skill grant had flattened their stats.

All‑skills buff fixed – The tester “all‑skills” buff now correctly applies passive benefits (health, focus, carry weight, attributes, attack skill and resistances) instead of merely showing the set level.

More transparent salvage – Salvage tooltips now list every component that can be returned and the exact odds for each, pulling directly from the roll table.

Gameplay Tweaks

  • Taming query speed – Testers can now ask “how many collars does this creature cost me?” and receive an answer within a minute, eliminating the need to tame dozens of creatures for the same information.

  • Container handling – Placed containers can be nested inside other placed containers, and a failed decoration move now returns the item to its original spot instead of leaving it stranded.

  • Trap damage fixed – A long‑standing rounding error that disabled damage on spike walls and swinging logs has been corrected.

  • Animated spellcasters – Creatures that cast spells while standing still now play the appropriate animation; previously, 140 creature/spell pairs showed no animation.

  • Hallucinogenic Gas bug – The swamp mushroom debuff no longer reads its own penalty back into its formula each frame, and its tooltip is now readable with the full‑strength penalty applied correctly.

Visual & Technical Polish

  • Texture upscaler – A new upscaler doubles the resolution of small‑authored art and removes seams from tiling textures, giving a sharper look across the world.

  • Dungeon Builder overhaul – The procedural dungeon generator has been moved into the Dungeon Builder window and now supports five build styles. Hallways between rooms and outward growth are the new default, offering more control when designing dungeons.

All of these changes aim to smooth out everyday gameplay, give clearer information, and provide a more polished visual experience. Keep an eye out for the smoother map, tradable trophies, and the brighter textures the next time you venture into a dungeon!
