Siege Overhaul, UI Polish, and a Host of Fixes – What You’ll Notice Today

By admin · 8/18/2026

Shared sieges are back – the “Private” and “Party” options no longer lock a city siege to a single player. A single siege now supports up to 64 participants (instead of 8), so you’ll see larger, more chaotic battles and more teammates (or rivals) fighting side‑by‑side.

Quality‑of‑life tweaks you’ll feel immediately

  • Fly toggle no longer kills you on descent, making aerial travel safer.

  • Chat pins now survive a relog, so your important messages stay where you left them.

  • Skill tooltips have been corrected; defensive abilities no longer claim they hit targets.

  • The empty leaderboard message now stays neatly inside its panel.

  • The chat window respects its last position – it won’t pop open on a missed glyph or a cooldown fizzle.

  • Button graphics in nine UI windows were redrawn at a proper 30 px size, eliminating the hairline‑through‑label glitch.

Combat and world fixes

  • A previously invisible siege catapult now appears as intended, and related visual bugs have been squashed.

  • Body Slam now works against rooted creatures, adding a new tactical option.

  • Wind‑driven windmill blades spin correctly again.

  • Wall lamp targeting, weapon comparison tooltips, and Crown Store crown payments have all been fixed, smoothing both combat and shopping experiences.

  • The store category list is now widenable, giving you more space to browse items.

Inventory stability

  • “Some items could not be moved” errors have been resolved with five client‑ and server‑side fixes, improving stack consolidation and container placement on lots.

Behind the scenes

  • The Chaos shard now runs on a fresh copy of live data: 8.8 million records have been restored, migrated, and verified, and the refresh process is documented as a repeatable checklist.

  • A new Tester Handbook is live (/guide in‑game and on the tester hub) to help our QA community navigate setup, tools, verification workflow, and the bug‑loop chart.

  • Localization is back on track: eight languages have caught up on a month of new content, bringing overall coverage to 99.2 %–99.6 % (up from 97.3 %) with roughly 2,600 lines translated per language; NPC dialogue remains at 100 %.

All of these updates are already live or will roll out shortly, so jump into a siege, open your chat, or head to the store and notice the smoother experience. Thanks for your patience as we keep polishing Shroud of the Avatar!
