New Updates: Quests, Pets, and Performance Tweaks

By admin · 9/28/2026

Today’s update brings a mix of story polish, performance improvements, and fun new additions for players. The main quest has seen its third pass of refinements: new players on the Isle of Storms now get guided step-by-step, the Vermillion Lens pieces can be found in any order, and party summons no longer interfere in solo story areas. Dead story characters stay gone, and every main quest greeting now plays through 214 story stages—ensuring no missed moments.

Performance has been tightened across the board. Player towns now render more efficiently: the ocean no longer redraws every visible object unnecessarily, lamps load only after you arrive, and interior decorations stop rewriting twice a second. Grasslands now end cleanly at 80 meters, and distant objects finally simplify properly. The Magic Mirror has been moved to the new interface, with the appearance screen keeping its look and now featuring a Random lock on every tab—plus eye sliders no longer drift on every visit.

The Crown Store welcomes two new companion pets: a playful fox and a curious goat, both with unique dances and nap routines. All pets now sync with your dance emotes, and the new /pet dance and /pet sit commands work as expected. The Koala companion also returns, napping when you stop and bellowing when bumped.

The Decoration Museum is now live—every decoration in the game is on display in one zone, with a /showcase panel to filter by type, cost, or category. Meanwhile, NPC translations are back in full for non-English players, restoring about 3,700 lines of text including key quest content.

Other fixes include restoring the Corpse Explosion to affect all players in the scene after a three-day bug, ensuring the Oracle always delivers the Shroud, and resolving lingering story tasks. Add-on API 14 now allows deeper integration—add-ons can now read your own screen data, follow your gains and combat chat, add custom commands and keybinds, and even open your windows on click.

The Wizard Tower (City) lot is now available—featuring real stairs, a balcony, turret rooms, a sky-bridge, and floating stepping stones, all in the village tower style. And with the August data recovery now permanent, all unspent experience is safely returned at the next chaos restart.
