Containers, Coasts, and a Cleaner Sea: This Week's Update
Big news for anyone who has been waiting to set sail: Build 358 is live, and Smokehaven and The Great Sea are now open to every player. The team had the content ready and was waiting on the boat switches to flip — and now they have. The next update's notes are already posted ahead of the patch, led by these two new areas.
Finding things in your bags
Inventory housekeeping got a lot friendlier. Closed bags are no longer a mystery box: the bank now tells you what its containers hold, Search All My Stuff can open the bag for you, and bag rows light up while you drag an item. If you've ever stood at the bank clicking through sack after sack, this one's for you.
A tidier Great Sea
Those empty boats cluttering the waters? They're being dealt with. Abandoned boats now fall apart and sink, which clears the stray hulls out of The Great Sea and Smokehaven. Expect cleaner horizons when you head out.
HUD tinkering for add-on builders
Players who build their own interface with add-ons got some welcome flexibility: you can now turn off the player frame, the target frame, and the compass text, and you can move the compass separately from the date and location display. More freedom to arrange your screen the way you like it.
Combat and guidance
Two effects that weren't quite landing now take hold properly: slime slows and corrosion. And if you're wondering how to actually get out to the new sea, the Oracle will explain the way.
That's the day in short — new waters to explore, a tidier ocean, better bag tools, and more room to customize your HUD. See you out on The Great Sea!
