New Features & Fixes in Today’s Build: Mounts, Music, and Smoother Gameplay
Today’s update brings several exciting additions and refinements that enhance both gameplay and player convenience. The team has been busy polishing core systems and responding to player feedback—here’s what’s new.
We’ve added two new mounts: a Snow Tiger, inspired by a player suggestion through the Oracle, and the Magic Carpet, a whimsical purple rug that hovers with dust, sparkles, and its own sound—currently in staff testing. Both are set to debut in the Crown Store soon.
For music lovers, taverns now feature an updated Aether Vibration Device that plays the owner’s chosen station for everyone in the room. You can also reorder station lists to suit your taste, making each tavern’s vibe customizable.
A new 3D Item Preview feature is now in place—right-click any armor, weapon, decoration, or dungeon piece in your inventory, a shop, or during trade to view a full 3D model of the item. It’ll be enabled soon across the game.
Players returning after time away now receive a welcome back notice and a week of free skill adjustment from any town Oracle—perfect for easing back into the world.
Combat has seen some smart tweaks: Bard songs now keep the combat bar active during performances, and locked glyphs no longer lose a charge after one use, making them more reliable in the heat of battle.
The kill experience system has been refined: to earn XP on a kill, your party must now out-damage every hostile monster involved. A single hit during a monster-vs-monster fight no longer grants the full reward.
Housing improvements include tree removers now working on your own lots, clearing palm trees just beyond the lot line around Estercove’s water lots. Subscribers can now place up to 16 decoration pets on their City lots (double the previous limit), though vendors and Conversationalists remain capped at 8.
Finally, the /loctrack command now appears as a draggable mini-window, enabling add-ons to build their own tracking tools (API 29). And the team has fixed a recent bug that broke pet resurrection—now your faithful companions can come back again.
Build 310 is live on Chaos and Steam with new features like Roleplay chat with Unsend, Render Scale, and All-Time leaderboards.
