Release 129

Went live 8/27/2024 · 42 change items · 1 interim builds · official notes ↗

In short

Release 129 is now live, focusing heavily on polish and bug fixes across Britannia and Novia. Players will find a significant number of world adjustments addressing pathing issues for NPCs in areas like Snowy Mountain Road and collision problems preventing players from leaving intended playspaces on Graff Island and elsewhere. Several smaller visual glitches have been resolved as well, including corrections to object placement within Hilt Fortress and Castle Atos.

This release also includes improvements to crafting and items. Patterns for Foraging Books and Hunting Daggers are now available, and several existing blueprints have been corrected or clarified. Dye slot cleanup has been applied to a variety of outfits, and durability issues with holdable items like drinking horns have been addressed. UI tweaks include more accurate descriptions for Player-Owned Town deeds (indicating usability in Player Run Towns) and the proper placement of icons.

Notably, a new hamlet has been added west of Soltown in Cassiopeia, expanding opportunities for player settlement. The Crown Store is returning to its standard sales percentages after a period of promotional discounts, and subscription options will be more clearly displayed on the Rewards Program page starting Thursday, August 29th.
