New Spells, Sieges, and Fixes Arrive in Today’s Update
Today’s update brings a wave of improvements that enhance gameplay, fix long-standing issues, and open up new tactical possibilities—especially for Death magic fans.
The Sun spell Judgment is now live: plant your feet, focus a beam on a target, and let your allies’ attacks fuel it. The longer you hold it, the bigger the burst when it ends—but one hit on you and the whole charge vanishes. It’s a high-risk, high-reward mechanic perfect for coordinated combat.
Sieges are now active in towns, with the scheduler running and old gate-scene sieges replaced. Three previously stuck siege events are now functional, adding more dynamic world events to your adventures.
A major performance fix eliminates the dreaded black-screen boot loop. The launcher now automatically clears the graphics shader cache if a session didn’t close properly—no more manual fixes, no more crashes. This also resolves 55 crash reports from 23 different machines.
The Leaderboards have expanded from six to twenty-one boards, including eight new ones powered by 487 previously hidden per-account counters. Your progress in areas like crafting, exploration, and combat now has more visibility.
Death magic has seen a powerful overhaul. Death Touch and Death Ray now apply a resistance curse that strips 30 warding points across two stats—double the old effect. The new Revenant Stance capstone turns your life into focused power: no healing allowed while active, but it’s strong enough to break through undead warding. If you die while it’s active, nearby corpses rise to finish the fight.
The Oracle now lets you reset all your training, reclaim your experience, and mark yourself with Mark of Chaos—a bold choice for players ready to start fresh.
Finally, the Dungeon Waygate is now purchasable in the Crown Store for 500 crowns under Adventure Design. And thrown alchemy bombs now work multiple times per scene, with their cooldown properly clearing. Plus, Death magic specialists no longer turn allies into soul wisps during Deathwalk—just the usual blue, ghostly vision.
Bug pass complete: five issues closed, including a few long-running ones. The world is smoother, more responsive, and full of new possibilities.
