Focus Overhaul, New Fish, and Village Homes: October 30 Dev Roundup

By admin · 10/31/2026

A big day on the work log, with the Focus school getting the most attention and a few quality-of-life fixes players will notice right away.

Focus Gets a Major Tune-Up

Several changes land under the Focus umbrella. Focus Specialization now climbs at the same rate as every other school's mastery, so any Focus rune that reads it gets stronger. Summons finally cost less focus—Summoned Pet Health and Focus Specialization together can cut the upkeep by up to half. Tranquility becomes the first skill to make running cheaper, and Eidetic Memory joins the school by replaying your last rune. Focus also gains Mental Reflex: dodging, parrying, blocking, or taking a critical hit refills an empty slot in your hand.

The character sheet now itemizes your focus in detail—regeneration, rune and swap costs, sprinting, pets, and buffs (logged as Focus S15). Mind Wipe becomes a mulligan you can shape, giving one free right-click swap in the five seconds after the redraw.

New Fish and Trophies

Eight new fish are ready to catch, ranging from the Wels Catfish all the way up to a Great White Shark, each with its own trophy mount for your collection.

Player Towns and Housing

New Crusader Village homes are going down at 130% of their size. In player towns, a governor or Steward can now open a lot to every town resident, bank boxes and vendors included.

Twitch Drops Fixed

Twitch Drops can be claimed again. A trailing space in the campaign's app ID had kept every viewer stuck on Connect; the campaign has been set up again.

Build and Interface Notes

Build 343 is live on chaos and Steam, a day before the November login reward begins. On the title screen, both Play buttons now sit beside the Avatar on wide screens, and Play Offline gained a panel showing your last character and the difficulty.
