Developer Diary: Small Fixes, Big Improvements for Players

By admin · 9/7/2026

On September 5, 2026, the focus was on polishing and stabilizing gameplay—fine-tuning systems that make your time in the world feel smoother and more intuitive. While no major new features were added, a wave of small but meaningful fixes rolled out across the game.

One of the biggest quality-of-life updates: summons now stay with you as you move through zones, no longer disappearing or getting lost when crossing boundaries. They also now require focus to maintain, adding a layer of strategy to summoning while preventing accidental overuse. Pets no longer reset their state when crossing zone lines—a long-standing annoyance that’s now resolved.

Crafting players will appreciate the removal of four minor but frustrating quirks at crafting tables. These tweaks streamline the process, making crafting feel more responsive and predictable.

On the audio side, automatons now sound more like the mechanical beings they are—adding a nice touch of immersion to encounters with these constructs.

The team also completed 43 tracker items, most of which were verification tasks confirmed by testers, not the original developers. One verification check revealed a regression, which was quickly patched the same day—proof of the team’s commitment to quality.

Two new bug reports were added to the tracker, pulled directly from community feedback. One addresses layout persistence for mirrored or flipped house designs, a feature players have been asking for. The other fixes a rare but disruptive bug where a backpack container vanished from inventory after using a Teleport to Friend scroll.

These updates may not be flashy, but they reflect a deep focus on player experience—making the world feel more consistent, responsive, and alive. Thanks to the community for helping identify issues, and to the team for keeping things running smoothly.
