Today’s Updates: Smoother Play, Better Rewards, and Fewer Frustrations
We’ve rolled out a collection of quality-of-life and balance updates to make your time in Shroud of the Avatar feel smoother and more rewarding. Here’s what’s new:
Combat & Movement Fixes:
No more getting stuck mid-air after a crafting session—crafting stations now reliably release you when you exit. Also, a long-standing issue where Linux players in full screen were clicking 29 pixels below their cursor has been resolved, so button presses now land exactly where you aim.
Gear & Inventory Stability:
Combat decks now respect your actual gear loadout. If a piece is missing, the deck won’t force an empty slot—your gear stays where it belongs, even after relogging.
Player Dungeons & Targeting:
Logging into your personal dungeon no longer breaks spell targeting, pet behavior, or monster movement. Everything stays in sync so your adventures run smoothly.
Crafting, Gathering & Progression:
Gathering pass limits now scale with your Meticulous Collection progress—more passes at higher collection levels, meaning not every swing pays the same. The Mage of Mystery now sells the correct entrance to control points, fixing past mix-ups that sent players to the wrong side.
Prestige & Progression:
Guilds and player-owned towns now earn monthly ranks based on activity—kills, crafting, gathering, trade, decorating, and time spent. Combined with lifetime Renown tiers, your contributions now matter more than ever.
Content & Exploration:
The Songs of the Sundered Blade book now clearly lists all 30 wax cylinder locations and their holders. Cylinders drop at 30% chance, and veteran players can now access every song.
Chat & Localization:
Japanese text in chat now stays in the correct order—no more scrambled words like “てすと” becoming “てとす.”
Offline Merchants Added:
For those playing solo, offline merchants now sell raw materials like ore, wood, cotton, leather, bark, and animal parts at trade shops. Online stock remains unchanged.
Thanks to all who’ve shared feedback—especially the_catdude for the offline merchant idea. Keep exploring, crafting, and adventuring!
